Lubbock is my hometown and our family found educational
opportunities within the walls of Lubbock ISD. Strong public schools are
essential (and constitutionally mandated) to meet the needs of all children in
Texas, ensuring the long-term viability of our community. It is the role of the
Board of Trustees to maintain high standards in academics, accountability and transparency,
all while maintaining an unwavering defense of public education. I believe in
Lubbock, its people, and its boundless potential. I am running to ensure all
children have a path to success.
My commitment to you is this: I pledge to listen, to truly
hear your thoughts, aspirations, and ideas. Representing your interests
requires understanding your needs. My passion is education, and I will be
dedicated to being an approachable, responsive
voice on the Lubbock ISD Board of Trustees.
Together, we can continue to build an educational system
reflective of our shared vision and we will ensure Lubbock remains viable for
future generations.
